Wedges Buying For Spring

The Wedges Everyone Is Already Buying For Spring

March 14, 2018 by JUSTINE SCHWARTZ

Warm weather means wedge weather, and if you’re like me–or style blogger Julia Engelof Gal Meets Glam–you know that the most classic spring shoe is the wedge. It’s more of a lifestyle than a shoe–think outdoor weddings in June, backyard barbecues on Memorial Day or jaunts on a yacht in St. Tropez. (Okay, a girl can dream.)

What I’m saying is that they’re the perfect party shoe, yet still somehow maintain a totally low-key, approachable vibe. Plus, they’re incredibly comfortabe. Bottom line: they should be in every woman’s closet.

And while we’ve already determined that the flats everyone will be buying for spring are likely gingham–here are the wedges everyone is starting to snap up for the season:Vionic Kadyn Wedge Slides ($129.95).

Case in point: Charleston-based blogger Julia Engel, whose known for her girly style, is a huge fan of them! She recently wore the pretty blue wedges–and now we want them:

Julia showed off her sunny-day look on Instagram–and now we need the shoe in every color. We love how the wedge height is tall enough to wear with dressier outfits, but no so high that your feet hurt. Plus, the three color options are so good (it’ll be hard to choose from them), the periwinkle blue Julia wore is so pretty, but you can also never go wrong with camel or black. They go with everything!

The caramel is a great option–it’s the distant cousin of a nude shoe, in that it’s a little more substantial but still goes with everything.

Such a pretty blue! This is the exact pair blogges are loving.

Black is always in style. We love these for so many reasons–and with so many outfits!
