OSCARS RED CARPET LOOKS OF THE DECADE

BY. BREANNA CHIANNE

With Oscars 2020 and a new decade underway comes the exciting opportunity to see the different looks to strut the Oscars Red Carpet over the past ten years. Throughout the decade, celebrities have set a high standard for Oscars Red Carpet Fashion. Both men and women have graced us with elegance, class and refinement. As the industry evolves, it’s obvious that senses of fashion styles follow suit.

Between bold colors, mixed fabrics and unconventional prints, all the Oscars Red Carpet Looks spanning back to 2010 have surely sparked inspiration for present-day nominees. Ladies, like Meryl Streep and Oscars 2020 presenter Regina Hall, created their own lanes thanks to their distinct sophisticated fashion choices. Meanwhile, some renegades, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez and Best Actress In A Leading Role nominee Charlize Theron for example, have made daring decisions with sexier looks. The gentlemen, like Best Actor In A Leading Role nominee Leonardo Di Caprio and Best Picture nominee Bradley Cooper, consistently represent dapper manners in traditional black tuxedos. However, straying away from the norm was a confident trend you’ll also notice made by Jordan Peele.

As we look forward to the glamour following the upcoming ceremony, be sure to time and enjoy this gallery of Oscar Red Carpet Looks of the Decade.
