- Rihanna just showed us how to perfectly mix high fashion with sweatpants when she arrived into New York’s JFK airport.
- Wearing a pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps with a casual, gray sweat set, Rihanna managed to look endlessly chic and super comfortable as she traveled.
- The singer debuted her Fenty collection this week, and used realistically sized mannequins for the launch.
Harper’s BAZAAR‘s May cover star, Rihanna, always manages to look chic, and that includes when she’s just stepped off of a flight.
Arriving into JFK airport in New York earlier this week, the “Umbrella” singer and Fenty Beautyfounder looked totally comfy, as well as sneakily stylish, as she paired a loose sweat set with a pair of silver Manolo Blahnik heels and a Dior tote bag.
She finished the look with a baseball cap, perfectly bridging the gap between streetwear and high fashion:
Rihanna’s Manolo Blahniks feature “a unique, architectural heel inspired by Constantin Brâncuși, the pioneering 20th century modern sculptor,” per the designer’s website where you can shop the very same style.
The Ocean’s 8 star has just launched luxury fashion house, Fenty, in collaboration with LVMH. Rihanna is making history by becoming the first woman of color to run a brand at LVMH. To accompany her first Fenty collection, Rihanna said in a statement, “Women are forces of this earth. We are multifaceted, complex, vulnerable yet bulletproof, and Fenty speaks to all of our intricacies… I’m just hyped to see people in my clothes, man.”
