The trick to losing weight may have something to do with the color you surround yourself with, say experts. Turns out, the color blue may have some real weight-loss benefits. According to past research people who use blue plates, tablecloths, and napkins (and don’t stop there, they say–you could paint your dining room blue and use blue lights, but that’s getting a little nuts, no?) tend to consume fewer calories than those without the color blue nearby.
The researchers believe that blue is not an appetite-stimulating color in the way colors like yellow and red are.
